WWE has announced in a press release what the format of its next tournament will be to define the company's interim NXT Cruiserweight champion before the impossibility of Jordan Devlin, the champion, to defend his belt since he is in the United Kingdom and you cannot fight for it.

The tournament is made up of eight fighters, separated into two groups of four. The superstars will fight against the members of their corresponding group. The first of each group, who has the best record of wins and losses, will meet in the grand final to determine the NXT Cruiserweight champion.

If for any reason there is a tie in the fighters' records, the tiebreaker will be made due to their face-to-face confrontations in time: the one with the most wins will be the one who advances to their rival.

The participants will be revealed this coming Sunday on WWE.com and on the company's social networks. The tournament will begin this coming Wednesday in a new NXT program.
